The Story of Affliction

The solar system in which this story is set consists of five planets orbiting around the blue star known as Tau-303-0402.

The three closest planets to the Tau star; S1, M1-K3, and K3-Y5, were once governed by an interplanetary government on M1-K3.
During this time, the people of these three planets lived in harmony.

People tried to journey towards the two distant planets of the solar system known as 54M and D4-V3, but those who did were never heard from again.

Then one day, it came; A colossal asteroid collided with planet K3-Y5, causing the climate of the planet to dramatically change into a frozen graveyard.
The people who lived on K3-Y5 known as Ranto had no choice but to migrate to M1-K3.

However, after the Ranto settled on M1-K3, a huge economic imbalance arose, and many people became infuriated!
Before long, a civil war broke out on planet M1-K3. Many people died, while others fled the war to take refuge on planet S1.

The government on M1-K3 formed an advanced military group called the Solar Guard Unit (SGU), in an attempt to bring back order to the civilization and stop the war.
The SGU annihilated many people who opposed the government, but only had little effect against the immense war.

In the end, the government became hysterical and decided to end the war using weapons of mass destruction, turning the once beautiful M1-K3 into a deserted battleground of ruins.
Few people survived, and the government perished.

Nowadays, only a handful of people live amongst the ruins on M1-K3, and the people who took refuge on S1 during the war are now struggling to rebuild a new nation. As the days linger on, most people have lost hope.

Things seemed incapable of becoming worse, but now the darkest day has arrived!

The people on S1 received a distorted radio message from a survivor on M1-K3:

“An empire from a distant planet who call themselves the Em'des, have invaded and subjugated planets K3-Y5 and M1-K3. They are now headed towards planet S1!“

After the radio massage was received, the remaining civilization on planet S1 gathered together their most highly skilled fighters and formed a resistance, in an attempt to strike back at the Em'des and return order to the solar system.

It is suspected that the Em'des are responsible for the asteroid that wiped out planet K3-Y5 many years ago.
This may have been their method to bring down the interplanetary government that once ruled the planets in order for an invasion.
